Service to the Community
The Youth Aviation Foundation (YAF) is a non-profit corporation that supports efforts to expose young people to community service and leadership training in an aviation-centered environment. We believe that adults mentoring youth in volunteer emergency services, leadership, and aerospace science will open the doors for our nation’s future astronauts, aviators, engineers, scientists and civic leaders, as well as contributing to the academic and emotional development of young people. It is the goal of the Youth Aviation Foundation to provide the facilities and tools to make this happen. |

Our Missions
· Provide a community-based emergency response facility which will house classrooms, equipment and offices needed to support our volunteer emergency response and youth training needs. · Introduce young adults to aerospace science, and to provide them opportunities for experimenting with technology and equipment. · Encourage young adults to become leaders while experiencing the trials and rewards of leadership. · Instill in a new generation the love of aviation and an appreciation of the value of community service.
